A SUB EDITOR IS NEEDED

We are looking for someone who is lucky enough to be our Editor


Are you an avid reader? Are you a writer? A speaker? Do you believe in
creating miracles in your free time? Lucky! Magazine which is a by
product of free time is looking for an Editor.


Life is rich with opportunities — this will be your chance to be
smarter, happier, richer, and more successful, with hard work of
course. Sometimes, these little-known success secrets appear fully
formed and stare in people’s eyes until they recognize them. If you
keep your eyes and ears open, you’ll recognize them. But noticing them
is not enough. You have to be open minded with an open heart too and
block out your mind’s instinct to give you a list of good and rational
reasons why you shouldn’t seize the day.


You are responsible for managing development, production, and
presentation of all editorial content. You will create and execute a
new vision for presenting relevant ideas of living information and
advice to readers in a rapidly evolving environment, making the Lucky!
a trusted and valued source for bringing awareness in the community.


S/he will report to the Managing Editor with the following
responsibilities:


• Develop and execute a comprehensive content vision, and style
• Develop and maintain the editorial calendar, working with
contributors to maintain freshness of content aligned with long-term
vision
• Recruit and manage a team of freelance writers, staff editors, and
respected contributors
• Edit all submissions to meet publishing standards
• Generate original content
• Continuously work with production staff on presentation and quality
control
• Ensure all responsible parties – design, freelance and others – meet
necessary deadline requirements
• Pursue deeper understanding of the information needs of readers and
tailor content to fit these needs and interests
• Pursue reader submissions, as appropriate, to complement internally-
generate d content
• Occasionally visit business networking events as editorial
representative of the company.
