OPERATIONS CONTROLLER

An International Logistic, Clearing and Forwarding Company is seeking to engage an individual of high integrity to fill in the position of OPERATIONS CONTROLLER-NORTH CORRIDOR . POSITION: Operations Controller-North Corridor

REPORTS TO: Transit Import Manager DUTY STATION: Dar es Salaam POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None

BROAD FUNCTION:

Control and Monitory the Information and administration of the moth corridor (Rwanda, Burundi, East Congo and Uganda).

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES. Validate files
Control documentation
Control and supervise flow of information from CSO

Monitor and supervise the documentation and the operation process Control quality of the updates
Monitor quality issues in close cooperation with the quality officer.

Solves operational issues along with the CSO, the Port Supervisor, the Transport Coordinator and the Documentation controller
Assure good collaboration with COLOG Department Prepare invoicing draft

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensure quality of service provided to clients by motoring closely the entire chain of process as well as providing clients information on due time

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Academic Qualifications

A Level Secondary Education Certificate Advanced Diploma in Marketing or equivalent Professional Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding Experience:
At least 3 years relevant experience in a Clearing and Forwarding and industry. Skills
Good communication skills Computer literate
Conversant with freight and shipping procedures Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Organized and responsible
An eye detail and accurate with figures

Demonstrated ability to work diplomatically, harmoniously, and effectively with a diverse group of people
