Job Description

Responsible for multiyear resource development strategy for Europe to maintain and expand funding for IAVI. In consultation with the EDE, develop and manage long term strategy based on political and financial trends and adjust targets as needed. Assess and identify new funding streams and prospects in Europe, based on organizational strategy and priorities. Together with the team for major donors and stakeholders, oversee the organization of donor cultivation events. Research and identify opportunities for funding, obtain input from other teams and make recommendations to the Europe Management Team (EMT) on the suitability of funding opportunities. Coordinate and ensure effective reporting to donors. Coordinate, facilitate and, as required, lead periodic meetings with donors. Support the EDE in ensuring responsiveness to donor needs and requests.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications : Graduate qualification or equivalent experience. Sound understanding of the international donor environment and of HIV/AIDS programming in developing countries. Any post-graduate qualification relevant to the post. Knowledge of individual, institutions and networks making significant contributions in the global response to HIV. Solid experience of managing donor relationships and some contract and project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. To Apply Click Here
