Goldman Sachs seeks two economists to join its US and global economic research teams. Both positions are located in New York. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in economics or equivalent qualification, preferably combined with 5+ years of practical work experience in the public or private sector.
Key requirements are a proven capability for outstanding analytical work in applied macroeconomics, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Prior knowledge of US economic data and experience with macroeconomic forecasting is also an advantage, especially for the US economist position.
