Project Area Description
Project Manage Transformation projects in Workplace transformation. This is a critical infrastructure “build, deploy and migrate” project.
Excellent knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; Initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Knowledge of current Project Management methodologies. Demonstrates the required proficiency levels for skills defined at this position in the IBM Skills Management System. Knowledge in business matters, finance, planning, forecasting and personnel in order to manage team staff and business issues
Engaged as a professional to work with team members to articulate, compare, and implement solutions and alternative approaches based upon project management principles. Team members might include customer, supplier and IBM staff. Clearly communicates team results to immediate management / project manager.
Recognises and articulates problems related to the project / segment of the project. Applies creativity and judgment in development of solutions or deliverable objectives. As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.
