Business Analyst - People And Organization Development (Intern)
Key Responsibilities
- Enable the Director General to track and monitor institutional performance. Develop and provide quality presentations and reports that enable informed decision-making.
- Ensure the Director General is prepared for key institutional events (e.g. Board Meetings, ET, SLT, Leaders Forum, External events and meetings). Facilitate the development of agendas and tracking of minutes for meetings within the WorldFish planning cycle.
- Develops work products, plans and processes that support institutional planning initiatives (e.g. Must Wins and Key Performance Goals) and creates reporting formats (e.g. dashboard reports) for institutional planning and tracking of progress against plans.
- Supports internal clients in performing planning and analytical activities and supports delivery of annual priority plans. Facilitates the team champions within each country / unit to track and report against their performance.
- Establishes effective monitoring and evaluation systems that enable tracking of OD investments and ensure improved targeting of future initiatives.
- Manages and organizes OD data to facilitate analysis and ensures formats meet expectations and demonstrate use of report options that present data in a concise, clear, accurate and objective manner.
- Responsible for managing assigned OD projects in a timely, effective and efficient manner that aligns with OD initiatives.
- Provides technical support for the WorldFish learning portal including coordinating with external provider to ensure we maximize the benefits of our eLearning platform. Can design and develop to specific requirements to maximize the value and use (e.g. development of the Gender Portal).
- Performs research to identify new innovations in the field of OD to support the improvement of OD programs and services.
Skills and Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent.
- Highly proficient in all major software applications such as excel, power point and word.
- Able to analytical data and effectively managing information through to tracking and reporting.
- Poses good communication skills and writing skills.
- Results Orientation by delivering task through well planned and organized.
- Critical thinking and problem solving by shows initiative and offer solution to solve problems.
- Systems thinking by thinking across systems and ensure systems align and support each other.
- International experience such as lived, studied or worked in more than one country.
- Cross cultural competence
- Ability to work with senior leaders (Executive and Board level)
