Morocco Hotspot
The Morocco Hotspot aims to address key labour rights issues in the Moroccan tomato sector in the Souss Massa Draa area. The project will engage with multi-national companies, retailers and exporters around labour rights issues, and advocate and campaign for workers’ rights.
Function
As a Campaign Assistant (communications) you will have a versatile position, helping in developing and implementing the outreach activities that support the campaign. The position allows you to get first-hand campaign communications experience, working with key communications tactics in a highly strategic setting.
Some of the expected activities are:
- Assisting in the development of communications tools and tactics
- Doing background research that supports the development of these tactics
- Writing and editing articles, blog posts and social media posts Your competences
- You are presently studying at or have graduated at a higher education institution (HBO) or university or have acquired equivalent levels of working and thinking through work experience, with a focus on communications
- You are an English native or near-native speaker
- You have excellent skills in writing and editing English texts
- You are able to work independently as well as in a team
- You have affinity with Fairfood’s objectives
- Fluency in French is a plus
What do we offer?
This is an unpaid position, which is suited to acquire work experience in this particular field of work and at an NGO. We offer a versatile position within a young international organisation. You will have the freedom and opportunity to continue developing yourself and achieve tangible results. We value our interns and volunteers to whom we offer reimbursement of home-work travel as well as lunch when they are in the office.To create a beneficial relationship for both parties we prefer you to work for a minimum of 24 hours a week over a four-month period.
