Indirect Purchasing is a global organization with personnel working in all major countries where Sandvik has a significant presence. Stakeholder management is therefore essential for the organization to ensure that our internal customers are satisfied. Indirect Purchasing must have the ability to partner with and understand customer needs and always be available to serve those needs.
The role
The role of a Regional Manager in the Indirect Purchasing organization will be, through successful stake holder management, to develop and manage the indirect purchasing organization serving their assigned Sandvik US sites.   This position will play a critical role in the development and execution on Indirect Purchasing business plans and ways of working in the future.
Indirect Purchasing is responsible for all interaction with the supplier market; managing supplier efforts to deliver "right quality, on time and at the best total cost" on all products and services purchased to Sandvik. The Regional Manager's role, together the whole Indirect Purchasing organization, is to ensure that Sandvik leverages the local supplier market in the best way, with an attitude to "like to do business".
Key performance areas
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop the new Indirect Purchasing organization at assigned sites.
  • Personnel development and management
  • Develop strong stakeholder support and cooperation at assigned sites.
  • Ensuring that local spend is under management and contract compliance
  • Supporting site business planning and savings
  • Reporting using established measurement tools
  • Implementing national/international Group agreements among assigned Sandvik sites.
The key accountabilities include:
  • Successful management of direct reporting indirect purchasers in assigned sites.
  • Lead and support peers, providing guidance on all matters within the sourcing process. Act as process leader for continued sourcing process improvement.
  • To act as a supplier manager and be accountable for the relationship and the performance of suppliers for the sites in question.
  • To manage the key stakeholders on assigned sites on behalf of the global Indirect purchasing organization.
  • Provide support to local Buyers for site-specific supplier agreements including RFI, supplier negotiations, and preparation of supplier agreements.
  • To ensure the implementation of country-wide/regional/global supplier agreements in compliance with the Indirect Purchasing strategy.
  • Ensure measurement tracking of savings and compliance with other synergy process requirements.
  • To seek the best possible sourcing decision for assigned sites. Support the identification of new synergy opportunities between assigned sites and / or other US sites.
  • To collaborate with the Country Purchasing Manager Indirect, Business Unit representatives and Global Category Management in sourcing decisions.
  • On-going communication and change management.
  • Manage a portion of US Group Supply agreements as required by Country Purchasing Manager Indirect
  • Serve as key contact point for some Global Category Management
Your profile
  • Strong ability to - with a business minded attitude and marketplace knowledge - drive negotiations and supplier interactions in order to deliver the targets.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed manager capable of working independently.
  • Thorough knowledge of contracts and US contract law.
  • Ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
  • Flexible and open with an ability to work across functional boundaries.
  • Good oral/written communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time (mostly domestic with occasional international travel)

  • Участие в сборе потребностей от заказчиков по предоставлению услуг платного сервиса.
  • Ведение коммуникации с CEE/EMEA/ABC по обмену опытом, получения технической информации и потребностей в инструменте/решении и ведению проектов PIP.
  • Взаимодействие с техническими специалистами в регионах по обмену материалами и обмену опытом.
  • Участие в подготовке к выставкам и работе на выставках.
  • Предоставление необходимой отчетности руководителю Отдела инжиниринга, Директору по продажам (соответствующей зоны и канала Дистрибьюции).
  • Обеспечение развития активного сотрудничества с Отделом продаж и Отделом поддержки продаж и маркетинговых коммуникаций (BS).
  • Соблюдение правил внутреннего распорядка, своевременное предоставление и правильное оформление внутренних документов(отчёты об испытаниях, акты выполненных работ, авансовые и другие документы, определённые компанией).
  • Выполнение других поручений руководства, касающихся деятельности компании.
Требования:
  • Высшее экономическое ( по специальностям экономика и организация производства) или техническое образование (желательно металлорежущие станки и инструменты).
  • Опыт работы: от 3 лет в области машиностроения (технолог, мастер/начальник технического отдела, цеха и т.п.);
  • Опыт работы в области внедрения и управления проектами или оптимизации производственных процессов;
  • Инженерный опыт, навыки продаж приветствуются;
  • Навыки проведения презентаций;
  • Знание металлорежущего инструмента, рынка металлообработки.
  • Опыт бюджетирования, управления персоналом
  • Знание английского языка на хорошем уровне (устный и письменный) ;
  • Опыт работы с MS Office и другим ПО

Your Profile
  • BA/BS degree
  • Strong interest in a sales career
  • Previous experience in similar position is a plus

  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good understanding of technology and have an industrial background

The role
In this key role the Carbide Performer is responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machines to produce a wide variety of assigned parts to proper specifications and quality standards. This position will involve a 90 day trial for performance evaluation.
Key performance areas
  • Checks part to print to ensure proper parts match the print requirements
  • Operates various machines which include but are not limited to: CNC lathes and mills, all manual lathes, grinders, cut off saws, gero saws, induction heating equipment, other straightening/flattening equipment
  • Sets up of various machines including finding tooling for jobs and finding, manufacturing or altering the proper fixture or holder to run jobs
  • Designs & fabricates fixtures to ensure the dimensional integrity of the product
  • Keeps track of allotted tooling issued to each employee and fixtures taken to or from fixture inventory
  • Ensures machines are in good working order and perform basic maintenance functions, (oil bed ways, check oil levels in machines, and cleaning, etc.)
  • Maintains in process inspection of parts to ensure finished part quality on all operations performed
  • Maintains production, quality and proper reporting of number of parts completed or scrapped after each work center according to the job router
Your profile
  • Technical training from two year college or six months to one year related experience and/or training
  • Six months of related manufacturing experience working with machinery
  • Must be able to do basic shop math with the use of a calculator
  • Work with blueprints, involving fractions, decimals, multiplication and division
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

We are looking for a Regional Service Delivery Manager with the position to be located in the Regions Nordic and East Europe.
Key performance areas
As Regional Service Delivery Manager your main responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for regional support and quality of service delivery in accordance with
contracted SLAs within the region
- Identifying exceptions to the quality of service delivered and working with the service provider
and GFSS to identify root causes and examine resolution
- Responsibility for promoting the objectives of the GFSS organization within the region,
including promoting opportunities for further cost saving, harmonization, monitoring quality
and control, business activity within the region
- Identifying and implementing further innovation in the way GFSS services are delivered
- Responsibility for coordinating the implementation of agreed standardized processes and
templates
- Taking an active part in supporting BPO contract management in securing contract
compliance, and adherence to Sandvik policies and procedures
- Working closely on strategic initiatives for efficient methods of working and tackling
operational matters
Your profile
You have a Bachelor of Science in Finance and/or Business Administration, combined with at least five years in a leading accounting position in the area of finance and accounting in a large global company. Experience of shared services management, change management and/or process development is preferred. This role requires skills in Swedish and excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. One or two local languages are also a plus.
You have a strong customer focus, are result oriented, and know how to build effective, global teams. The position as Manager places major demands on your leadership skills. You are perceptive and easily create a trusting environment for collaboration, while inspiring and motivating your co-workers to create team spirit and enthusiasm in order to reach the business' goals. You are also interested in developing both the business and your co-workers, have the ability to implement changes and possess very good social competencies and networking skills.

Application Management Lead - System21 Finance

Introduction
The Application Management Lead – System 21 will be responsible for the management of the dedicated process area in an international framework on a day to day basis and all supported environments of A & IS Solutions / Applications to a large community of Sandvik business users within a customer focused environment.
The Role
Some of the main responsibilities include:
  • Manage high severity production issues, through to successful resolution, in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Create and maintain support documents to enhance competency and efficiency.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to level 2 application support.
  • Identifies and monitors trends related to production application issues.
  • Responsible for problem management and emergency changes.
  • Support the Service Level Agreement process
  • Manages smooth and thoroughly transition of new solutions / applications and implementation projects into service operations
Your Profile
The successful candidate will:
  • Have extensive professional experience supporting ERP system in a similar position and managing support calls, incident calls, root cause analysis and providing solutions.
  • Be experienced in formal change and release management processes.
  • Be able to delegate and allocate tasks and work within a team.
  • Possess excellent problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Be keen to work in a Global and common framework.
  • Have solid project management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of the key finance business processes for the area of expertise
  • Sound ITIL L3 Expert service transition and operations Skills
  • Excellent finance application knowledge and support skills in the Infor System21 Aurora ERP system
  • Sound business process and application knowledge for surrounding process areas
  • Qualified to ITIL L3 Expert or hands on experience working to ITIL process

Underhållsgruppen (SVPFU), inom affärsområdet Sandvik Materials Technology, driver och utvecklar underhållet på borrstål i en tillverkningsindustri med höga krav på tillgänglighet, driftsäkerhet, flexibilitet och lönsamhet. Underhållsarbetet bedrivs i nära samarbete med framförallt produktion men också med övriga avdelningar inom Sandvik. Vi erbjuder en miljö där dina idéer uppmuntras och där du har stora möjligheter till utveckling.
Arbetsuppgifter
Skiftstyrkan du kommer ingå i består idag av tio personer, fem elektriker och fem mekaniker. Du kommer i huvudsak att arbeta med avhjälpande underhåll men även förebyggande. Vi arbetar för att minimera det avhjälpande underhållet och istället arbeta mer planerat vilket ger bättre säkerhet och ekonomi. Underhållsorganisationen består även av områdesansvariga mekaniker, områdesansvariga eltekniker, FU-grupp, planerare, underhållsingenjör och en reservdelstekniker.
Arbetsformen är idag 5-skift men även andra former av skift förekommer.
Din profil
Vi söker dig som har en treårig el-teknisk gymnasieutbildning med inriktning mot automation, alternativt att du på annat sätt eller genom annan utbildning förvärvat motsvarande kunskaper. Kunskap om Siemens S7 och ABB 800xA styrsystem är meriterande. Du bör ha mer än fem års erfarenhet av el-tekniskt arbete innehållande bland annat felsökning. Du behärskar Officepaketet, samt svenska och engelska i tal och skrift. Som person är du social med god initiativ- och samarbetsförmåga och du arbetar självständigt utifrån givna förutsättningar.
