Director of Impact Evaluation
Queen Rania Foundation aims to improve opportunities for children and young people in Jordan, so they are equipped with the knowledge, skills and values that will allow them to excel in a fast paced and competitive world.
Since its inception in 2013, QRF has been focused on developing innovative solutions which aim to improve opportunities for children and young people, creating localized innovative and sustainable interventions that have global relevance and impact focused and evidence driven approach.
Supporting and understanding the strengths but also realizing the gaps and challenges of the educational system, and identifying the game changes which address them. Education is the foundation for social, economic, and political development and QRF’s work covers all different components of this, from teacher training, curricula and assessment, and the use of technology to guarantee parity and equity in the educational services received by learners.
In order to change the outcomes of children, and bridge the socio-economic divide that leaves groups of children, including refugees feeling marginalized, helpless and isolated and vulnerable to radicalization, QRF creates sustainable interventions that are scalable on a national level to address the challenges faced by the country and wider region.
Our strategy to broaden our global relevance and asses our impact in Jordan now presents us with the opportunity to create the role of Director of Impact Evaluation, which will lead and drive our impact assessment, support and nurture the team in Jordan, who undertake rigorous data analysis both qualitative and quantitative, to help us identify the impact and effectiveness of our interventions and strategies.
With consideration to our international focus, the complexity of our work in the developing world, and the impact of global dispersement of people, this role would suit someone who has experience of working in impact and evaluation preferably within a developing setting.
You will use your experience and expertise in impact evaluation and assessment to help guide the development of our activity and our global programs, lead the team in Jordan and contribute to our strategy. You will also possess outstanding leadership, engagement and influencing skills which will support QRF in establishing its aims and ambitions.
