MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
PhD in Criminology/Criminal Justice or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Teaching of theories in criminology and qualitative research methods; research and a good publication record in criminology/criminal justice.
AREAS OF CONCENTRATION
Theories in Criminology and any THREE of the following areas:
• Victims’ Rights and Welfare
• Corporate Crime and State Corruption
• Crime, Media and Society
• Sentencing, Corrections and Penal Reform
• Crime, Police and Society
• Qualitative Research Design and Methods
SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching at least three courses per semester, assisting in the supervision of the research projects in criminology, supervision of postgraduate students, and assisting in coordinating the teaching programme.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Must show initiative and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
