HR Administrator Job
Summary: Reporting to the HR Adviser, South Africa, he/she will manager day-to-day HR and administration function in the Kenyan office.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the prescribed HR systems and processes and ensure a consistent approach to HR administration.
- Ensure that up to date employee records are entered and held on HRDB and accurate leave records are maintained.
- Participate in the compilation of training needs and coordinate training activities, making sure training records are up to date.
- Coordinate recruitment activities such as interviews, assessments, inductions, communicating with agencies.
- Initiate and coordinate work permits applications, medicals.
- Prepare interview packs, offer letters, induction & exit check lists, and staff transfer documentation.
- Arrange relocation quotes and provide relocation support where required.
- Support new hires and internal transfers as regards to relocation, immigration and the related benefit administration.
- Administer, monitor and evaluate the provision of employee benefits and act as first line of support to all employees for any enquiries.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll input process.
- Coordinate and collate all HR reporting activities.
- Coordinate Human Resource contribution to the Intranet.
- Update Organization Charts.
Qualification and experience
- Degree in Human Resources Management or business related field with Human Resource option.
- A higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- 3-5 yrs working experience in a Corporate environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail and follow up skills.
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Kenya Labour Laws.
