Campaigns Officer for George Lyon MEP (Scotland) ALDE
Salary: £22,000 - £25,500
George Lyon is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard working Campaigns Officer based in his Glasgow Office.
Responsible for:
- Establish Campaign Issues to promote George Lyon MEP
- Drawing up Campaign Plan to deliver the above
- Liaising with Scottish Campaigns Director to devise an Annual Campaign Plan using Alde 400 money and executing them
- Running campaigns, capturing contact details and ensuring ongoing communication with constituents
- Responding to Campaign issues raised by constituents
- Liaising with Constituency Organisers on joint campaigns with MSPs/MPs
- Liaising with other Liberal MEP Campaign Officers
- Liaising with Brussels Researcher on Campaigns
- Developing a close relationship with Council Groups and Local Parties across Scotland.
- Provide Training where required to local parties
- Research issues to assist with Campaigns and Casework
- Assist with Office and Media duties when required
- Excellent Working knowledge of Serif Page Plus
- Any other work as deemed necessary by the Office Manager to ensure smooth and efficient running of the MEP Office
