External Communications Manager IFAH

This position shall report to the Communications Director

Your responsibilities
Assist the Communications Department on the European and international level by:

• Managing external websites and writing content for the websites
• Managing production of publications, writing newsletters, writing press releases and other general communications tasks
• Organisation of annual European Pet Night event
• Relations with EU institutions
• Media relations
• Regular monitoring of EU and international developments relevant to the animal health industry
• Coordination of Communications Committee (Europe)

Your profile

• You should have a solid communications background
• Excellent (native speaker level) English; other languages are an asset
• Excellent writing skills (in English)
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Team spirit and ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of the EU institutions
• Additional assets: experience of working in a federation/association; experience of working in the animal health industry, agricultural sector, pharmaceuticals area, or life sciences.
