The Luc Hoffmann Institute Director
The creation of the Luc Hoffmann Institute was announced during the WWF's 50th birthday celebrations in April 2011.
The principal emphasis of the Institute will be to mobilise world-class thinking in science, policy and practice to help deliver the ambitious objectives of WWF's Global Initiatives. The Institute will develop powerful ideas that can be translated into practical outcomes through the delivery capability of the world's largest conservation organisation.
Applications for the inaugural Director of the Institute are now welcomed. Applicants should have a strong academic credibility; experience in working with NGOs and a passion for
conservation; and a record of delivering useful, impactful and action-oriented science. Applicants are welcome from the natural and social sciences.
