Salary £24,986 per annum including outer London weighting rising to a maximum of £29,085 by annual increments

The Scout Association is looking for a Public Affairs and Campaigns Executive with passion, skills and drive to support our policy and campaigns work. This is your chance to work for the largest co-educational youth organisation in the UK and campaign on behalf of half a million young people.

With at least two years’ experience working in public affairs or in a political environment, you will have an excellent track record of liaising with senior figures across all tiers of government. You will be an excellent communicator, with the skills to be able to deliver a campaign workshop to a roomful of teenagers one day and give evidence to a Select committee the next.

Experience of preparing consultation responses, writing briefings for politicians and decision makers and organising events is essential. Most importantly, the successful candidate will have the ability to engage, enthuse and motivate young people.
