Secretary General, European Lime Association Ellwood & Atfield

The European Lime Association (EuLA) - the largest member of the Industrial Minerals Association, IMA-Europe - is looking for a Secretary General. Leading the debate in key issue areas including energy efficiency, climate change and emissions reduction, EuLA and IMA-Europe are at the centre of some of the Europe 2020's most critical targets. The Secretary General will provide leadership to EuLA's membership on strategy development, stakeholder communications and advocacy, while boosting the profile and reputation of the association.

You hold a high-level academic graduation and have 10-15 years’ professional experience in industry and/or EU regulatory/public affairs, in a trade association or corporate function, with an excellent understanding of the above issues. You have the presence and gravitas to deal on equal terms with CEO's and other executives. Speaking fluent French and ideally good German, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to rally stakeholders around positions and projects.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with the potential to grow internally into a larger function within 2-3 years.
