The young professionals programme is a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the United Nations through an annual entrance examination. The examination is open to nationals of countries not adequately represented among the staff of the Organization. For young, high-calibre professionals across the globe, the programme is a platform for launching a career at the United Nations.
The 2011 examination is offered to candidates with academic backgrounds in Administration, Humanitarian Affairs, Public Information and Statistics.
If this is you, you may qualify to take the young professionals programme examination held 7 December 2011 in locations across the globe.
The application period runs from 11 July to 10 September 2011. Applications from women are strongly encouraged.
