TMF in the United Kingdom is currently looking for a highly motivated team-oriented Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy.
• Plan, organise and direct the organisation’s activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial performance.
• Identify and optimise opportunities for business growth and development to ensure continued success and expansion of the business.
• Recruit (where applicable), develop and engage managers, ensuring the Group is first-choice employer for the best talent in the business.
• Promote high standards of business and personal behaviour, ensuring implementation of and adherence to Group policies and working closely with others to ensure all legal requirements are respected.
• Develop and lead a high performing management team focused on ensuring that all employees perform at optimum levels to grow the business and nurture new and existing client relationships.
• Maintain and develop the organisation’s culture, values and protect/enhance its reputation with staff, clients, business partners and regulatory/official bodies.
• Develop and implement a rigorous approach to compliance and quality in line with Group and regulatory requirements.
• Report to the Regional Director and Head of Business Lines on organisational plans and performance.
• Develop effective relationships and work closely with other Managing Directors to maximise opportunities for cross referrals and global business development.

Key technical requirements

• Primary degree in business, accounting or law. Masters degree or an equivalent post-graduate qualification is highly desirable
• Deep understanding of the international capital markets and the financial services sector
• In-depth knowledge and experience of securitisation, leasing and structured finance is highly desirable
• Good understanding of company law and corporate governance in the UK
• At least 15 years of management experience in an international business environment, with expertise in change management
