Major Gift Support Coordinator , Central London

SALARY: £25,800–£27,707 pro-rata
CONTRACT: Temporary contract until 31st December 2012. 3-5 days per week.
LOCATION: Central London

As part of a dynamic major gifts team tasked with increasing our capacity to harvest substantial gifts and deliver income growth, you will provide a range of internal account management support.

This will involve handling a portfolio of supporters, linking projects to donor interests and preparing funding proposals, as well as liaising with country programme staff to coordinate funding related communications, preparing progress reports for donors and maintaining records.

With experience of preparing proposals you will have polished writing skills and the ability to adapt your style to a range of different communications.

You will have good knowledge of grant management, preferably in the international development/aid sector, coupled with sound numerative and analytical skills. Experience of managing a prospect/sales pipeline would be an advantage.
