You will join Warwick Medical School, Division of Health Sciences - Clinical Trials Unit as a Clinical Trial Coordinator to support and manage the WOLLF trial within the Clinical Trials Unit (WOLLF- Wound management in Open Lower Limb Fractures is a randomised controlled trial investigating different types of wound management in patients who have sustained an open fracture of the lower limb). You will work with the Chief Investigator and team to manage the clinical trial and ensure that the trial delivers high quality data on time and to budget.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with the co-ordination teams of two other on-going orthopaedic trauma trials (DRAFFT and FixDT) and provide support and expertise where necessary. You will provide administrative support for the allocated clinical trials, taking responsibility for the preparation and submission of relevant approvals and registration and organisation of TSC, DMEC and other meetings. This may involve supervision of clerical and support staff. You will ensure that clinical trials adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures developed by the Clinical Trials Unit and Trust and University policies and procedures.
You will be a good team worker with excellent project management and IT skills. You will have a sound knowledge of ICH GCP and be competent at setting up clinical trial sites and working with them to achieve their recruitment target on time. Travel within the UK will be required.
