Independent Award Centre (IAC) Operations Officer

We are currently recruiting for two Independent Award Centre Operations Officer.  This posts will be based in the EMAS region.  These are new posts for the organisation and will work remotely in the EMAS region with support from the EMAS team based in London.  It is likely that the successful candidate will be hosted by a partner organisation.
The post holder will provide guidance in the management and operation of the Award; input into the strategy and management plan of IACs; develop and implement the training strategy and calendar; ensure the maintenance of proper records; and develop and maintain operational systems (including Online Record Book) and resources. In managing the portfolio of IACs, the post holder will be expected to undertake fieldwork which will involve evening and weekend work and work overseas across the region.
The successful candidate will have:
•         Experience of running The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award;
•         Experience of managing youth programmes and project management including financial management
•         Ability to demonstrate leadership and decision making skills
•         Professional qualifications in teaching and/or youth work or a related field
•         Knowledge of at least one other European language or Arabic
