Project management associate

Chemonics seeks a project management associate to join our South Asia regional business unit. The associate will provide day-to-day support to project teams and contribute to proposal development for USAID-funded activities. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
  • Perform general administrative duties; establish and maintain files
  • Liaise with local and international subcontractors
  • Communicate and assist with field office requests, including personnel, reporting, subcontracting, procurement, and compliance issues
  • Recruit and field consultants
  • Work with home-office support departments on contract-related procurements, accounting, personnel, publications, and travel
  • Serve on proposal development teams
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of administrative work experience required
  • Ability to handle routine tasks and operational issues
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to provide strong client service to project field offices
  • Strong administrative skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Fluency in English
