As Accounting Supervisor Manager you will manage a group of (Assistant)
Accounting Supervisors to accomplish the common goals. The first one consists of correct and timely monthly closing of the legal entities
assigned, in respect of US GAAP accounting principles. You will also sponsor the statutory close process for these legal entities. On top you will work on standardization and harmonization projects to ensure best practices are in place. Knowing we want to motivate and grow our associates, people management and coaching skills are essential to fulfil this role successfully.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Identify (process) improvement opportunities
- Coach & develop team
- Monitor month-end close process
- Balance and P/L control
- Involved in preparation of yearly statutory accounts and tax declaration
- Assists in Tax/VAT audits
- Statutory audits
- Internal and external audits
- SOX
- Coach & develop team

Qualifications
Profile
- Minimum Bachelor degree in finance area.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, including knowledge of statutory and corporate tax processes is required.
- You are a strong coach and have the ability to empower people
- You drive for execution with a clear customer focus
- You are innovative and not afraid to challenge status quo
- You are able to work under high stress and deadlines
- You have proficient communication skills
- You have excellent pc and Microsoft office skills (especially Excel).
- Experience with AS400 or SAP are an asset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken as well as written. Any other European language is an asset.
