Job PurposeThe purpose of the Senior Sales Support Officer (Cargo) is to ensure that sales supplier selection and reviews are executed in compliance with Etihad corporate guidelines. The job holder will drive revenue generation through effective analysis of sales performance, implement EYCC business plans and drive business development activities.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and drive renewal/selection plan for GSA, acting as a single point of contact for GSA selection strategy and focus
  • Develop existing GSA selection process (methodology & subsequent measurement) with accountability and timelines
  • Manage station level revenue budget setting process
  • Design and deliver robust sales analysis to assist sales team performance measurement
  • Manage and drive sales initiatives for new opportunities- business lanes/new stations
  • Direct use of technology, interfacing with Head office IT, Finance and other teams to drive automation
Requirements
  • University graduate
  • At least 5 years in a commercial role in the freight industry
  • Advanced knowledge of cargo processes, understanding of contracts & procurement guidelines
  • Freight/logistics industry experience
  • Expert competence in MS Office – Excel, Access, Power point, etc.
  • Awareness of Cargo sales processes and product distribution
  • Understanding of the cargo product and market practices
  • Prior experience of revenue/cost budgeting, action planning and project implementation
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Understanding if IT systems
  • Ability to define & implement processes
