Temporary Manager, Talent Acquisition              50% - 80%

Location/Contract Details:

WWF office in Gland, Switzerland. This is a maternity leave replacement from mid-November 2013 to May 2014. 

This is a local recruitment - only local applicants will be considered for the role.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the recruitments of support, manager and director level positions at WWF International Secretariat;
  • Works closely with hiring managers to finalize the Job Descriptions and grade the roles appropriately;
  • Participates as panel member and coaches line managers in good interviewing techniques and best practices;
  • Takes up references, agrees on salary, makes employment offers and draws up employment contracts;
  • Provides an advisory service to staff members on recruitment processes and other ad hoc queries;
  • Liaises with Swiss authorities for work permit and visa applications, and other queries;
  • In charge of coordinating relocation of employees including liaising with the relocation services provider;
  • Coordinates with and coaches the Coordinator, People & Organization Development (POD) in finalizing advertisements, recruitment logistics, and maintaining recruitment intranet and social media platforms;
  • Participate in other HR projects or Change process in the Secretariat as necessary;
  • Performs other duties as requested by the a.i. Director, People & Organization Development.

What you need:

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
  • University diploma and/or a relative HR diploma;
  • At least 5 years experience in handling recruitments at different levels;
  • Very good understanding of key HR processes.
  • Discretion and excellent interpersonal skills are vital;
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with minimum supervision;
  • Flexibility, service attitude, and ability to communicate at all levels in a multicultural environment;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Superb coaching and influencing skills;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, and computer literate;
  • Fluency in English, French an asset;
