About the Job:
In this role you will ensure timely & correct processing of supplier invoice, expense claims, sales reports, and to handle financial and accounting of financial documents for Moscow in line with Qatar Airways Financial policies and internal accounting procedures. You will support the Strategic planning, Decision making, Costing, Project Management, Financial planning and Analysis in the station.
Your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to ensuring that all vouchers and claims are countersigned to ensure that cross verification was done in line with applicable policies and procedures. You would have to handle petty cash, duty travel, entertainment expenses etc. You would assist the station in procurement of goods and services to ensure good value for money. You would safeguard the fixed assets of the company, pay the suppliers on time, verify, check, process and account the invoices of suppliers (AP). You would also ensure compliance with local taxation and budget reporting/ filing / compliance/ requirement. You will also support auditors during station audit and be involved in training new staff. You will take care of contracts and agreements; follow strictly the QR policy and IAP and DOA.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have to be a Commerce and/or Accounting Graduate from a reputed University. You would also have successfully completed Intermediate/ Accounting Certificate courses like CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA/ICWA or an MBA Finance.
You will need to have an Accounting Experience of 5 years in airlines with at least 2 Years in similar capacity. You should have a user level experience with ERP, be proficient with spread sheets. You will also have knowledge on Contracts and on Local laws and regulations like VAT, Tax, Payroll etc.
