The role
With the support of SMEC's Management team and SMEC Urban's capability, you will be responsible for developing SMEC URBAN's activity and presence in North West Sydney.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide project management and/or project governance of projects to achieve reliable project performance in terms of sophistication, timeliness and quality
- Build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through targeted activities
- Contribute to providing leadership to employees on the project to ensure cohesion, optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Established networks in North West Sydney. You will understand this market, its drivers and main players.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification and 15+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Excellent Business Development skills. You will be able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify the appropriate resourcing for projects. Ability to identify requirements for skills development within the team
- High level communication skills to advise and guide project design development in a pro-active manner and to represent the SMEC design team as a valuable contributor to the project.
