One of the Group Tax Function's priorities is working with transfer pricing, both strategically and practically. Our aim is to achieve arm’s-length pricing in all intra-group transactions in which Sandvik is involved: preparing proper transfer pricing documentation for all major transactions to comply with local regulations and providing an established and tax-efficient set-up for transfer prices, service fees and intellectual property. We ensure compliance with the transfer pricing procedure, while creating risk awareness regarding the same.
We are now looking for a Transfer Pricing Director who would like to take on a challenging, strategic role: developing road maps and setting the direction while aligning the visions within finance and tax and creating a top to bottom flow. The location of this position is flexible within Europe.
Key performance areas
As Transfer Pricing Director, you lead the development of the Transfer Pricing framework design, assure compliance and audit defense strategies. You maintain and implement procedures and handle projects related to business restructuring, finance, M&A and review of existing business models. You give advice to the business on implementation of policies, determine transfer prices for specific transactions and support business on any ad hoc requests to Transfer Pricing. Also included in your responsibilities are:
  • Supporting implementation and training of transfer pricing knowledge in the Group
  • Managing the risk management process in the Transfer Pricing area
  • Leading and handling relations with tax authorities
  • Being part of strategic projects outside the transfer pricing area
The role involves traveling.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Law who has worked with high level Tax/Transfer Pricing for at least 15 years’ and have experience from Global Accountancy. Previous practice/consulting and experience from acting in multinational companies has made you well prepared for the complexity of acting in a global organization and you have excellent knowledge in international tax and transfer pricing. Also, you have trend awareness and a strong understanding of OECD rules. We expect that you are highly experienced in supply/value chain analysis, intangible transactions and business restructuring. Good knowledge of MS Office and excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking, are prerequisite.
