Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant – ACCESS SMC
Malaria Consortium is looking to hire a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant who will lead in providing technical assistance to the French-Speaking country teams in Chad and Burkina Faso for M&E in the roll out of seasonal malaria chemoprevention. The post can be based out of Malaria Consortiums’ London office, or can be home-based if this is not feasible and will require significant travel to countries in the Sahel where the project is being implemented. A proven track record in provision of technical assistance in M&E for malaria prevention and management and other related programs at field level is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Postgraduate degree in public health with significant experience in development and maintenance of routine project/programme monitoring systems.
- Extensive experience of dedicated professional M&E experience in public health projects
- Extensive cross-national working experience
- Significant experience in set up and maintenance of ICT databases and systems. Experience in electronic data collection, mobile health applications and basic programming
- Highly proficient in the use of large scale data entry & statistical analysis packages e.g. STATA, EpiData, CSPro
- Professional experience in the field of malaria control and/or maternal, neo-natal and child health
- French speaking
- Knowledge of M&E reporting requirements of external donors
Ability to travel to Chad and Burkina Faso for short term support visits highly preferable.
