Job Summary
Cardno is an ASX-200 professional infrastructure and environmental services company, with expertise in the development and improvement of physical and social infrastructure for communities around the world.
Cardno is seeking a Receptionist to run the front desk of a busy corporate reception while working with a diverse group of professionals located in our Portland, OR office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Meeting and greeting clients and staff in person and on a busy switchboard
> Coordinating the reception area and providing assistance to the administration management of the office
> Organizing incoming and outgoing mail
> Maintaining cleanliness of meeting rooms and common areas
> Procurement and distribution of office supplies
> Coordination with facilities staff, including maintenance requests
> Booking meeting rooms and company vehicles for staff
> Arranging catering for internal meetings and client events
> Making recommendations for process improvement and efficiencies
> Assisting the administration team with general office duties
> Ad hoc duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:
> A minimum of 4+ years' experience within a reception role in a corporate environment
> A friendly and cheerful demeanor combined with an ongoing goal to excel in customer service
> Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your time
> Polished and professional telephone communication skills
> Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite of tools
