E-Learning Systems and ILT Co-ordinator , Kingston and Sutton Educational Partnership Ltd


Kingston and Sutton Educational Partnership (KSEP) provides support services and executive management functions to Carshalton College and Kingston College and is jointly owned by both Colleges. The federation between Carshalton College and Kingston College enables key corporate, quality and learner services to be provided to both colleges in a more efficient way.
The colleges provide an extensive range of programmes and offer sustainable and high-quality education opportunities for the communities they serve in Kingston, Sutton and the surrounding areas.
As E-Learning Systems and ILT Co-ordinator, you will support the curriculum systems and learning resources systems and software used by the Colleges. These include Promonitor, Proportal, MoodleRooms, Turnitin, library management systems, e-resources products and e-learning tools. Working as part of the Learning Resources team and collaborating with curriculum staff, you will support and promote embedding of the systems in both Colleges’ services, to enhance student success and experience. It will be your responsibility to ensure that these systems are configured and regularly updated to match curriculum needs.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will have previous experience of supporting others in the use of technology, applications and systems and have excellent communication skills, allowing you to deliver training and to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. A strong team player with good interpersonal skills, you will have a thorough understanding of web-based learning technologies and how these can improve the outcomes of learners and users.
Excellent IT skills are imperative for this role, in particular related to web applications and including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email. We’d also like you to have experience of delivering a high level of customer service to service users and have previously worked in a College or similar educational environment.
Those who have worked with curriculum systems which support the development and tracking of learners are highly desirable, as are those who have experience of site level administration of a system.
