Consultant / Managing for Development Results

UNDP is seeking a Senior Consultant/Managing for Development Results who will provide thought leadership and expert steering to guide the development of the organization's approach to MfDR in the next Strategic Plan 2014-2017. Building on the organization's work to date, the advisor will help UNDP develop innovative, adapted, and strengthened approaches for articulating, measuring, monitoring and reporting on UNDP's contributions to development results that meet both external stakeholder and internal management and accountability requirements, and that reflect UNDP's unique business model and mandate.

Candidates must have relevant and advanced educational background, and at least 15 years of experience in a combination of development policy, strategic planning, organizational effectiveness and results-based management, including notably in an international setting. The assignment period is two years starting in October, with negotiable terms.
