ICTY Fellowship

The International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) is looking to sponsor four Fellows to work full time for one year at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), at The Hague, the Netherlands.

The Fellows will assist the Judges and staff of the Appeals Chambers in the research and drafting that is necessary to adjudicate cases pending on the Appeals Chambers docket. They will work, as interns, under the supervision of the President of the ICTY and senior legal officers of the Appeals Chamber. Support Package:

Each Fellow will receive a scholarship of €47,000 for one year, paid quarterly in advance. Fellows will be responsible for their own travel and housing expenses, as well as for any and all tax liabilities arising from the funding arrangement.

The Fellowship Programme is administered by the IBAHRI; Fellows will not be staff members of the UN.
