The Quality Improvement Manager is based in Abu Dhabi within the Planning & Institutional Effectiveness department and the incumbent will be responsible for the following: assist the Dean to lead the Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation, collaborate with Divisional Academic Teams to plan the information requirements for accreditation and benchmarking activities, develop and maintain the institution-wide quality assurance data that aligns with the HCT institutional effectiveness framework and strategic initiatives, work collaboratively with Institutional Research and Planning to analyze and identify data requirements for Quality Improvement, institutional effectiveness and Strategic Planning and facilitate institutional reporting to the government agencies with regard to performance indicators. The incumbent will also develop and maintain a professional development role for Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation to assist HCT staff to understand and operate the HCT Quality Improvement system.

Requirements:
• Masters degree in a relevant field.
• Significant managerial experience in a relevant or related field
• Work experience in the field of institutional research and quality assurance/improvement in an academic institution.
• Familiarity with contemporary institutional research issues, with reference to program accreditation, institutional accreditation and quality improvement.
• Hands on experience with data analysis preferably with Banner.
• Experience with institutional research in administrative and support areas is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to network and build relationships with HCT staff and external benchmarking and accreditation agencies.
• The ability to work independently and initiate quality improvement strategies within HCT
