Project Coordinator Healthy Child Uganda, UofCalgary

The Healthy Child Uganda Muskoka Project Coordinator ensures smooth administration and coordination of Canadian inputs to the project of staff, volunteers, finances, and technical advice, as well as coordination of annual budgeting and reporting. This person works with a project management team in Canada and Uganda, and reports to the Project Director, Healthy Child Uganda Muskoka Project. This is a full-time position based in Canada, with expected travel to Uganda for 2-3 weeks at least once a year.

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in a related field: project management, international development, global health
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in international development project coordination including at least 1 year overseas
• Experience with CIDA requirements and reporting essential
• Organization, planning, logistics, management and written communication skills
• Strong written communications and experience in report formatting, website improvement and maintenance, layout and development of project materials, pamphlets, and posters
• Strong team work as well as time management skills are required, and the ability to work by distance
