WaterAid is looking for an experienced Direct Marketing Manager to join our ambitious Supporter Recruitment Team, part of the Direct Marketing Unit, to help WaterAid realise its vision of a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation.
Today 2,000 children will die from drinking dirty water and poor sanitation. It’s an unthinkable statistic. It’s also just one reason why our work is so vital. Our vision is of a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation. Fundraising has a major part to play in making this a reality.
The Direct Marketing Team’s fundraising strategy has already proved hugely successful, raising over £28m in 2011/12. By 2014/15, we want this to have risen to £44m. This is an ambitious target, and achieving it won’t be easy. Is this the sort of challenge you thrive on?
You’ll manage and develop a varied portfolio of supporter recruitment activities, such as DRTV and integrated media campaigns. As such, you’ll be highly experienced in direct marketing with proven ability to manage complex campaigns and budgets, supported by strategy development and relationship building skills.
