Job Description
Test and Validation Engineer responsible for the management of the day-to-day activities associated with the support of the TEWS Test and Validation Facility.
Key Responsibility Areas
Act as the initial point of contact for all TEWS Test and Validation Facility queries and their resolution with BAE Systems and the RSAF
Act as the primary interface between the EW Centre and the TEWS UK based TEWS team for issues associated with the T&V Facility Support to the RSAF on the maintenance and calibration of the TEWS T&V Facility
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
Skills:
Good communication skills required, in order to provide effective interface to BAE Systems and the RSAF
Flexible in their work approach to cover supplementary out of hours support to the RSAF
Capable of managing and maintaining a high work rate in a demanding environment
Effective team player
Qualifications:
Engineering degree
Knowledge and Experience:Experience working with CEESIM Experience in the maintenance of test facilities
Knowledge of defence aerospace security and configuration standard
Experience of resolving hardware and software issues
Personal Attributes:Good at working in multi-disciplinary teams
Self Motivated
Ability to communication at all levels
Confident

Based in the EW Centre on the Riyadh Air Base, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), this is a fulltime role for 5 years, which will require driving in KSA. The role requires the handling and maintenance of the TEWS facility, to set timescales, so the individual will be required to work to tight deadlines to meet the needs of the contract. The role may involve out of hours working, and the use of test equipment and IT equipment. The role will also require UK familiarisation training at the UK Luton and Lincoln sites.
