Job PurposeTo design a Network Strategy on which to plan Air Serbia’s Network development plans both long and short term, maximising profitability that are operationally deliverable.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a dynamic Network strategy to meet the highly competitive market environment 
  • Maintain the 10 year Strategic Network plan
  • Develop business cases for selected new routes to provide analysis and recommendations to the Executive Management
  • Optimise next season schedule profitability
  • Develop detailed annual & 5 Year revenue budgets
  • Owner of Network planning applications, business intelligence and data
  • People management both internal, and externally is a key function of this role, to promote awareness of the airline and build relationships on which Etihad can build a global network
  • Team Management
RequirementsQualification & Education:
  • Bachelors’ degree, preferably in one of Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
  • Post graduate qualifications would be a distinct advantage (MBA or International recognized Accountancy Qualification)
Experience:
  • At least 12 years in airline major airline carrier industry is essential.
  • 7 years managerial experience
  • Previous experience undertaking analytical projects and a proven track record of success in influencing a wide circle of stakeholders to undertake actions leading to positive route profitability improvement will augment the job holder’s skills portfolio
Training & Knowledge:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Serbian
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in data mining along with Project Management skills would be an advantage
