Job PurposeThe Manager of RM Route Performance/Projects is responsible identifying and leading KPI revenue improvement across the network. This will be accomplished by leading strategic analysis and developing sophisticated inventory management strategies by developing and using new and existing data sources to generate incremental revenue to the $4 billion revenue budget
In addition to driving and leading route performance, the position will lead broad inter-departmental system-wide analysis at the Chief/SVP/VP level to identify structural revenue opportunities
Responsibilities
  • Work across RM teams to identify and drive Route level Revenue performance improvement by identifying cross-functional areas of additional opportunity in pricing, revenue management, sales and distribution
  • Lead strategic analysis of historical and forward looking revenue performance across the network to provide a dedicated comprehensive view of cross-regional opportunity by structurally analyzing pan-network opportunities for additional traffic to grow revenue and identify network constraints and provide revenue enhancing solutions
  • Analyze and define future data and reporting needs for the department to transform existing reporting process into more efficient, effective and actionable. This will be accomplished by understanding existing capabilities, currently available industry data and future requirements   
  • Identify structural opportunities to maximize revenue from fare families by designing new structures, performing complex elasticity analysis and driving implementation
  • Represent the department interests in cross functional Commercial meetings to ensure RM interests are appropriately communicated
  • Influence a team of 9 flight analysts in a cross-matrixed environment. Build coalition amongst their Line Managers to drive their activities and business processes to improve their effectiveness and deliver KPI performance metrics
  • Lead analysis and reporting of RM items on Corporate Revenue Scorecard
RequirementsQualification & Education:
Bachelors of Science (Majoring in Math, Economics, Business), MBA strongly preferred
Experience: 
8-10 years in Strategy/Planning and/or Commercial, with a minimum of 4 years in a management role in Revenue Management
Training & Knowledge: 
Strong Revenue Management Principles, Competitive Analysis, Commercial Performance, MS Access, Excel
