Public Affairs Manager

The corporate Public Affairs team (global) supports operations, franchises and senior management (Chairman and CEO, Executive Committee). It is fully integrated in both the PACC (Public Affairs and Corporate Communication) and the Market Access and Pricing teams.
Ipsen is currently looking for a talented Public Affairs Manager.
Position
Public Affairs Manager, reporting to Public Affairs Director.
Main tasks
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory and policy developments (institutions, stakeholders including payers) and make sure these are captured internally.
  • Develop and implement advocacy initiatives, with a focus on European markets (EU and national).
  • Prepare communication material (including position papers, speaking points, policy briefings…) for use by senior management
  • Build, maintain and facilitate partnerships with decision-makers, opinion leaders and stakeholders.
Candidate profile
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant working experience (public institutions, patients associations, consulting and/or industry), with proven track-record of successful lobbying campaigns / projects at EU and/or national level;
  • Excellent English, any additional language would be an asset;
  • Relevant, actionable network;
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to handle multiple projects at the same time;
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of EU decision making processes and understanding of their relevance to Ipsen and its portfolio;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to perform in multicultural environment;
  • Passion for public health, politics, policy / legislation and international affairs;
  • Team player, hands-on, proactive and results-oriented;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
Location
  • Paris / Boulogne-Billancourt
  • Relatively frequent travel (Belgium, G5)
