Job Purpose
Successful candidate will be responsible for new business acquisition through focus on corporate and TMC opportunities, generate maximum profitable revenues and passenger volumes for Etihad Airways throughout the West Coast.  Negotiate & account-manage commercial agreements with top national accounts. Establish presence of the airline as a major quality brand in the market
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
  • To achieve profitable sales revenue to an agreed target for a sales territory and/or portfolio of clients.
  • To promote the Etihad brand, products and services through the primary distribution channels available.
  • To negotiate & account manage commercial agreements with top national accounts of trade and corporate segment.
  • To maintain company’s standard of required number of sales calls per week.
  • To comply with company’s standard of account development planning, sales calls preparation, structure and follow-up actions by using respective CRM, booking and revenue tracking systems.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years airline or travel industry experience with a minimum of 1 year in a sales role.
  • Negotiation and Sales techniques.
  • Presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Account Development Planning skills.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills.
  • Good analytical skills to make positive use of broad range of data and information.
  • Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
  • Basic knowledge of reservations.

Operating EnvironmentYou will be operating within a pressurized environment, working remotely and independently with limited supervision. Working hours can be long and you may be asked to participate in evening customer oriented events and travel as required for training or familiarization visits.
