Assistance to selected pilot financial institutions (FIs) in offering demand-oriented and sustainable financial services to SMEs Development of bank structures and processes suitable for SME finance (risk management, monitoring system for SME portfolios etc.) Development and roll-out of SME finance training for bank employees Awareness raising, knowledge and capacities of the whole banking industry with respect to SME finance

Qualifications:

Economist, banker (or similar background) with sound experience in development cooperation Minimum 10 years experience in SME finance/banking Work experience in an SME development bank is an asset Minimum 5 years experience in strategy development and institution building (incl. setting up new SME finance structures and processes) Profound experience in development and roll-out of SME finance training (experience in working with a bank’s in-house training school is an asset) Work experience in an ASEAN member country Fluency in written and oral English, Myanmar language is an asset
