An experienced Digital Content Manager you are now looking for a career enhancing experience that will make the most of your talents and develop your skills.
At ActionAid we’re embarking on a digital transformation. We’re making digital channels the focus of workstreams across our organisation, and have adopted an agency model to bring this about.
Organised as a hub with spokes, the hub team are responsible for platforms, infrastructure, development, design and user experience; the spoke teams for content and marketing.
This new approach will create exciting opportunities for digital professionals to have global impact by dramatically improving our online income and engagement and enabling us to bring noticeable, sustained improvements to the lives of the poorest people in the world.
As Digital Content Manager you will play an important part in achieving this. You will be responsible for the standard of our online content and digital perception of us.
This will involve commissioning, writing and editing copy, and creating and implementing content and social media strategies that make the best use of SEO. In short, setting the bar. You’ll ensure guidelines on our brand, editorial style and tone, as well as best online practice are created and followed.
Much of your success will depend on your ability to work well with clients and colleagues. So, as well as drawing attention to your technical skills and strategic vision, your background must show this.
Your experience of developing content strategy for digital channels in medium to large enterprises has to have included project management, collaboration, negotiation and responsibility for ensuring vital targets are.
It also needs to highlight your ability to produce brilliantly effective and high quality content for website, mobile, social media and online marketing campaigns.
