Finance Officer

We are looking to recruit a Finance Officer in our UK office on a six month fixed term contract.
Working within the Finance team and reporting the UK Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of monthly tasks to facilitate the preparation of monthly management accounts. 
Tasks include balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings of significant transactions, management of the sales ledger and the reconciliation of inter-country transactions between the UK office and our country programmes. This role involves taking responsibility for the posting and reconciliation of all transactions in WaterAid’s trading company, WaterAid Trading Ltd. You also will be responsible for ensuring procedures around staff advances are followed in line with the UK Accounts Manual in order to ensure a robust system of internal control.
