Operations Manager
Are you an experienced Operations Manager who would like to contribute to the development of PNG?
The Economic and Public Sector Program (EPSP) is an initiative by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and a partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The goal of EPSP is to provide an effective and efficient public service that focuses on service delivery for the men, women and children of PNG. The program supports strengthening the systems of central agencies in their role as key enabling institutions to achieve their reform priorities.
The EPSP is seeking applications for the role of Operations Manager. Recruitment of this position is subject to the extension of the head contract.
About the role
• Port Moresby based
• Classified C2 under the Australian AID Adviser Remuneration Framework. See www.dfat.gov.au for details on fee and benefits
• Full-time 12-month position with the possibility of extension
• Leading the finance and operations management of the EPSP
About You
Our ideal candidate will:
• Demonstrate extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams;
• Have substantial experience in financial reporting including cash flow forecasting and expenditure reports;
• Demonstrate experience in the project management of a large complex program ideally in a developing country context;
• Have exceptional interpersonal, cross-cultural and communication skills, including the ability to convey concepts clearly and to understand and meet the needs of a range of stakeholders.
