Contract length: 9 MONTHS
The role
Based in Singapore you will work directly with the Regional Finance Director, Asia. You are responsible for providing management oversight and support to 14+ countries in Asia. The regional finance team is responsible for financial planning and insightful analysis of the region to various stakeholders. The team plays a strategic role in the analysis of metrics, initiatives tracking and providing decision support to all country offices in Asia.
Qualifications and experience
* Accounting degree from a leading University, followed by relevant professional qualifications (CPA/CA/ACCA) with high level of integrity and ethics
* 2-3 years of relevant experience in a regional capacity (Not-For-Profit accounting / finance experience preferred) with a total work experience of 6+ years is needed to be succe ssful in this role.
* Computer fluency; highly competent using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and experience of any ERP is preferred
* Experienced in preparing both Financial & Management Accounts, including overseas offices (knowledge of working of charitable organisations is preferred, with IFRS knowledge important)
* Self-driven change agent and a strong people manager
* Strategic finance business partner with strong influencing skills, sharp business acumen and sound judgment
* Strong relationship builder with a proven track record in forming good business partnerships
* Excellent communication skills, initiative, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently is essential
* Strong analytical, problem solving and financial modelling skills.
* Knowledge of one or more of the Asian languages is preferred
* Holding a current residential status in Singapore will be given preference
