Regional Strategy Management Associate Director –EASO

The Regional Strategy Management Associate Director – EASO will provide technical support to the East Asia Region (EASO) in the area of Regional Office (RO) and National Office (NO) Strategies and Business Plans development/implementation to ensure alignment with Partnership goals and priorities. Also, this position is required to proactively lead collaboration and coordination with Support Offices (SOs), Global Office of Strategy, Collaboration & Innovation (GOSCI) and NOs to ensure and enhance the resilience of NOs especially for funding and investment related issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Lead integrated planning process for region and National Offices including managing and updating MYPB template and guideline for National Offices.
• Work as a focal point for Organisational Capacity Plan (OCP) and Program Support Team (PST) action plan and lead the review process.
• Drive Regional Investment review (RIR) including data gathering, analysis, issue identification, options for resolution and leadership support.
• Contribute to the development of global framework, process, tools, procedures and guidelines relating to Strategy Management and provide leadership in contextualising and mainstreaming these within the region.
• Facilitate Regional Working Group (RWG) consultative meetings to create buy in of stakeholders, establish plan of action, identify deliverables and provide recommendations to RL.
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
• Post graduate degree/training in Economics, Business or Public Administration, Organisational Development or any related field.
• Modelling skill based on MS Excel.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a leadership position, and involvement in strategy development and/or implementation processes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a multi-cultural leadership team.
• Experience related with some of East Asian countries (e.g., work, education).
• Some level of travel (25%) is expected within the region and to other places. Some travel may be in remote location with minimal facilities.
