With a strategic plan to produce more than 1.3 million tonnes per annum of copper within five years, the Company is poised to become the largest, widely-held pure-play copper producer and one of the top five copper producers in the world.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this vital role will be responsible for providing support, advice and guidance on external and internal training options available ensuring that options sourced are cost effective and add value to the Company, while meeting all recommendations and requirement set by the DMP.
Initially a major responsibility of this role will be steering the new project of setting up, maintaining, auditing and reporting on Position Skills Matrixes and compliances.
You will have significant experience in a similar role in a resources environment, and demonstrated experience in implementing site wide training programs including managing the site training calendar. Ideally you will have a Certificate IV in TAA with experience in delivering area inductions as well as developing and maintaining training materials. Attention to detail with data entry, auditing and reporting will be your strength.
You will be an excellent organiser and have the ability and skills to develop, implement and maintain effective training policies, systems and processes. Experience with INX systems would be highly regarded.
This role is offered on a full time Monday to Friday basis with every second Friday off. This role is residential in the idyllic seaside town of Hopetoun. An attractive salary and allowances are on offer as well as subsidised company accommodation and relocation package for the right candidate.
