Advisor Quality & Procedures
for 36 hours per week (fulltime)
in The Hague
Main tasks
- Advises, asked and unasked, to the line management about quality systems and procedures.
- Functions as depository of knowledge for line management in the field a Quality & Procedures given task.
- When the situation requires, acts as project leader within his or her own focus area to improve processes, instruments or organizational changes.
- Able to translate process designs into audits requirements, training materials and system requirements in coordination with other internal stakeholders.
- Able to translate unclear tasks and complex problems into practical solutions through manageable activities.
- Gives, on request, training and coaches the application and use of tools and procedures.
- Makes sure that procedures, policies and tools are properly communicated and known by all Oxfam Novib staff
- Coordinates with other bureaus and Country Offices for implementation of procedures and policies and measures the success of their implementation
- Makes sure that tools related to programmes and projects (formats, guidelines, templates, etc.), are in line with Oxfam tools, match Oxfam Novib house style, meet ISO requirements, are lean and user friendly
You
- You have a bachelor degree in business management or equivalent level through work experience of 3-5 years
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Experience in process design & making procedures, policies and tools
- Process oriented, very pragmatic and team player
- You work in a result-orientated manner and you have strong planning and organisational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, good interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible and customer-orientated attitude.
- You are willing and able to travel to country offices outside The Netherlands if necessary
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
- Applicants must be Nationals of a European Union member State or have a valid work permit for the European Union.
We offer:
A competitive, fair and comprehensive pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. We offer a gross salary in the range from EU 2,639 to EU 4,061 on the basis of a 36 hour working week. This is excl. 8% holiday fee.
