Applications are invited for a new Faculty position. Selection will be on the basis of excellence in scholarship and teaching.
Applications are particularly encouraged from those specialising in Public Law, and the successful applicant would be expected to contribute to the activities of the New Zealand Centre for Public Law.
The successful applicants will have demonstrated capability in research and teaching and will be likely to have a postgraduate law degree.
An appointee at a Senior Level will have:
- publication in leading refereed journals
- other scholarly publications
- successful record in securing research funding
- student and peer evaluations of teaching
- record of leadership on development of teaching programmes at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- successful record of attracting and supervising Masters and PhD students
- Experience in building relationships with organisations outside of the University.
All appointees will need to have to extend the School’s interface with relevant professional and practitioner communities.
